Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Waupaca, Skunk and Foster Lakes SNA, W of Grenlie Lake Rd. 1.9 mi. N of US Hwy 10 and 0.6 mi. S of CTH V, 0.5 mi. mi. E of Portage Co. line, 8 mi. due NW of Waupaca. Unnamed pond ("green-frog pond") across the ridge and down from NW corner of Grenlie Lake.

Habitat: Shallow water with slurpy bottom of decaying organic matter, swampy wetland fringe of pond in morainal depression; under Alnus incana subsp. rugosa and Ilex verticillata with Carex comosa, C. diandra, C. leptalea subsp. leptalea, Dulichium arundinaceum, Eleocharis erythropoda, Lemna minor, Lycopus uniflorus, and Sagittaria latifolia. Mixed with Lemna "minor."
