Habitat:
Among colony of Sparganium along shore: water tea-brown, 0-2 ft. deep; EC=28uS, substrate is a loose, brown peat. Associates: Nymphaea odorata, Brasenia schreberi, Dulichium arundinaceum, Utricularia sp., Sagittaria latifolia, Sparganium androcladum.
Occurrence Remarks:
Plants submersed, with small flowers solitary in leaf axils. Growing like a robust Ceratophyllum.
