Habitat:
Grassy area in woodland, in light shade of Populus tremuloides saplings. With Geum vernum, Poa pratensis, Taraxicum officinale, Agrimonia, Plantago Rugellii, Rumex Acetosella, Achillea Millefolium, Lycopus. Just before anthesis. Voucher: 2n = 22 II, 14 cells counted (1972 Jun 9); this is the actual plant counted. On Spring Flora (Botany 401) examination of Jack Carlson & Gayle Davis.
