Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.

Habitat: In possibly virgin, open scrub savanna, with Quercus velutina, Pinus Banksiana, Prunus serotina saplings, Rubus occidentalis, Aquilegia canadensis, Geum triflorum, Lithospermum caroliniense, Helianthus strumosus, Heuchera Richardsonii, Hieracium caespitosum, Solidago canadensis, Poa pratensis, Vicia or Lathyrus, Panicum, Amorpha canescens, Houstonia. Two rosettes of one clone (2A & 2B) originally collected 2007 Sep 23 on occasion of the dedication of the Hamel's prairie as the Hugh H. Iltis Pairie & Savanna. Originally collected 2007 Sep 23. Individual 2A grown in Test Garden 9, position G8. FL-DT = MAY 17, LHA-N = 6. 1 flowering stalk & no rosettes. [Planted into Test Garden 9 on 2008 Nov 1.]
