Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat:
Along highway, around abandoned farm buildings & along dirt road just N of highway. Some good V. thapsus within 0.5 m of V. phlomoides, but all V. thapsus is past anthesis & all V. phlomoides is in late anthesis. (Part 3 of 3). Plants in population have large corollas & most have some decurrence of leaf blades on stem. Some plants ca. 2 dm. tall. Plant 3 of 4 collected, 1.55 m. tall.
