Habitat: Growing on a sandy, dry, south facing roadside.
Occurrence Remarks: Loose colony of plants. Petals white to 9mm long with a pinkish to purplish blush. Basal leaves serrate and pubsecent. Cauline leaves mostly glabrous (a few hairs on underside of cauline leaves' midribs). Cauline leaves clasp stem and are auricled at the base.
