Growing in dry sandy soil along the western side of a sand peninsula that divides the lake into two bodies of water during low water levels. Densest populations were found along the southern portion of this north south running peninsula. This sandy peninsula been above water for the last 3 or 4 growing seasons. Associated with Conyza canadensis, Calamagrostis canadensis and Euthamia graminifolia. 15 plants. Plants were smaller on average that thoes found in 2009.
