Habitat: In shallow water, little near-shore wet marsh skirting island; sandy stony bottom. Assoc. with Potamogeton gramineus and Mimulus ringens. Blades of floating lvs 3.0--4.2 mm wide, 2.3--3.3 times longer than wide; frts 2.3--2.6 mm long.
