Habitat: Growing in wet soil in floodplain of river in association with Eutrochium purpureum, Fraxinus nigra, Betula nigra, Acer saccharinum, Carya cordiformis, Rudbeckia lacinata, Alnus incana subsp. rugosa, and Salix spp. Population represents both red and green ash.
Occurrence Remarks: Voucher of Ames 30145 for the USDA-ARS North Central Regional Plant Introduction Station, Ames, IA and the U.S. National Plant Germplasm System.
