Habitat: Artificial farm pond, 1.5 acres, 10--12 ft. deep, completely lined, with no inlet or outlet.
Occurrence Remarks: Pond's owners have no idea how the hydrilla came to be there. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and WI DNR personnel believe it was brought in with nursery-stocked plants. All plants in the pond were killed using Aquathol K, and the pond was drawn down completely and froze the winter of 2007--2008. [Leg.: A. S. Bellows & P.
