Habitat:
Mucky clay soil, in full sun most of the day. With scattered Typha glauca, Agrostis gigantea, and Aster lateriflorus.
Occurrence Remarks:
Fragment removed for DNA extraction. NSF Dimensions of Biodiversity Project. K. M. Cameron, Spring 2012.; Forming very dense, nearly monotypic patches in wet ditch. These in shallow standing water next to culvert.
