Habitat: Open sandy shore of seepage lake, just above previous year's high water mark; assoc.: Carex crawfordii, C. echinata, C. lasiocarpa, C. viridula, Cyperus strigosus, Eupatorium perfoliatum, and Polygonum sp. Two plants, both in flower.This site is checked annually to monitor Astragalus alpinus var. alpinus and Oxytropis campestris var. chartacea, and the Senecio has not been seen previously.
