2006: Growing in a wet, shrubby poor fen with Betula pumila, small Larix and Picea, and the occasional Thuja. Also with Salix pedicellaris, Carex interior, C. chordorrhiza, C. magellanica, C. limosa, Salix pedicellaris, Sphagnum, Vaccinium oxycoccus, & Rubus pubescens.
