Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Waukesha, Eagle. Scuppernong River Habitat Area, 330 yds. due W of CTH N directly opposite the bend where "N" jogs northwestward, 1.6 mi. due NW of the center of Eagle.

Habitat: Formerly grazed (and/or cultivated?) (up to ca. 50--60 yrs. ago) wetland along tiny, straightened, W-flowing, spring-fed streamlet, supporting semi-natural, calcareous wet prairie; rich dense vegetation, sedge dominated but hardly tussocky and full of herbs. Assoc.: Eleocharis compressa var. atrata, Euthamia graminifolia (abundant), Helianthus grosseserratus (abundant), Juncus torreyi (occasional), Liatris pycnostachya (common), Pentaphylloides floribunda, Pycnanthemum virginianum (frequent), and Solidago riddellii. Two plants, one with 3 stems, one with 2 stems, all stems frting.
