Habitat: Riparian growth in Boreal Forest in eroded area along the Brule River. Growing with Abies balsamifera, Betula papyrifera, Populus grandidentata, Tilia, Alnus, Viburnum lentago, Doellingeria umbellata, Elymus hystrix, E. virginicus. E. wiegandii, Solidago gigantea, etc.
