Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Portage, Almond. In cemetery at the jct. of CTH D and 5th St., E of the village of Almond; very SE corner of cemetery in Mehne family plot
Verbatim Coordinates: T21N R09E sec34 NE4NE4;
Habitat: Growing immediately among Festuca sp., Selaginella rupestris, Eragrostis spectabilis, Erigeron canadensis and Centaurea maculosa. The area is rather sandy, and various prairie plants persist along the roadsides at and close by this intersection, including a big patch of Amorpha canescens. Only 1 clone, of about 25 stems, now mowed off. Clone is circular, about 10 ft. across.
