Habitat: Dense patch along 24 m of ditch, bordering large, planted Thuja occidentalis and hardwood-conifer forest. Mucky, somewhat sandy soil. Co-dominant with Phalaris arundinacea. Calamagrostis canadensis and Onoclea sensibilis common also.
