Habitat: One-third of the way up steep, E-facing slope of narrow, limestone (dolomite)-capped ridge. Assoc.: Aquilegia canadensis (abundant), Antennaria neglecta, Carex meadii, Cirsium hillii (common), Erigeron pulchellus, Monarda fistulosa, Oxalis violacea, and Symphyotrichum oolentangiense. Perianth white. Intermingled with and more numerous than Sisyrinchium albidum with blue-violet perianth (cf. 14359).
