Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Small opening in tall shrub swamp choked solid with woody growth. Assoc.: Carex granularis, C. hystericina, C. pellita, Cirsium muticum (one plant), Erigeron philadelphicus, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Helianthus sp., Phragmites australis, Salix eriocephala, Symphyotrichum puniceum, and Thalictrum dasycarpum. Very near first in a series of ponds dug long ago to attract wildlife for hunting purposes.
