Assoc.: Aster dumosus var. strictior, Cirsium muticum rosettes, Euthamia graminifolia (abundant), Helianthus grosseserratus (very common), Liatris pycnostachya (common), Muhlenbergia mexicana, Pentaphylloides floribunda (abundant), Pycnanthemum virginianum, Solidago gigantea, and S. riddellii.
