Habitat: Swamp N of road. In northern sedge meadow-shrub carr with scattered black ash, bordering black ash swamp. With Fraxinus nigra, Carex stricta, C. lacustris, Calamagrostis canadensis, Alnus incana, Salix petiolaris, Ilex verticillata, Cornus solonifera, Impatiens capensis, Eupatorium maculatum, Solidago gigantea, Solanum dulcamara, Onoclea sensibilis, Aster simplex, Cicuta bulbifera, Lycopus uniflorus, Cuscuta gronovii. Petasites x vitifolius occurs in adjacent black ash swamp.
