Habitat: Sand beaches with well developed complex of primary, secondary and occasionally tertiary dunes and swales; infrequently with active blowouts. Often dominated by beach grasses. Boat launch--Bearing south to well-developed primary dune dominated by beach grass (Ammophila breviligulata) 25-50% cover. Sand reed (Calamovilfa longifolia) abundant toward crests. Thick-spike wheat-grass in partially open sand. On E-facing slope with 25-50% vegetation cover. Spotted knapweed (Centaurea maculosa) nearby. Artemisia caudata.
Occurrence Remarks: 100-200 plants. Most are vegetative plants. Wpt 123.
