Habitat:
Tall outcrops of a limestone escarpment bordering a broad limestone shelf along the modern shoreline. Often with wet local depressions, fissures and cracks. Limestone flats, in cracks, ledges and fissures of limestone on boulder surfaces and outcrop escarpment (rock outcrop). Limestone flats of Niagara escarpment at water's edge high above splash-line. Deschampsia growing in limestone cracks just above water line. One plant on wet sand over limestone with zebra mussel shells. Campanula rotundifolia, Elymus.
Occurrence Remarks:
Frequent with 1-5% cover overall. One cespitose plant about 25 cm diameter at base on wet sand over limestone with zebra mussel shells. Wpt 82. Sheet 2 of 2.
