Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Jackson, DNR-owned portion of Bauer-Brockway Barrens SNA #325; from jct. of Brockway Rd. & W. Bauer Rd., go W 0.5 mi, at which point the barrens on the S side of the road open up wide

Verbatim Coordinates: 44 17'N, 090 45'W; T21N R03W sec16
Habitat: Retired Xmas tree plantation now reverting to pine barrens. Dominants: Andropogon scoparius, Carex penslyvanica, Convolvulus spithameus, Hieracium aurantiacum. Also present Panicum ?longifolia, Panicum ?praecocius, Hieracium longipilum, Liatris aspera, Aster oolentangiensis, scattered young Pinus bankesiana and Corylus americana, some Andropogon gerardii, Sorghastrum nutans, Koeleria macrantha. Plants discovered 01 June 2007 by Ann & Scott Swengel when 1 stem was blooming. Jim & I found 2 stems blooming today and ca. 25 other smaller stems in broad linear array ca. 25 ft. long.
