Habitat: Wet Carex stricta meadow. Relatively dry (wetter than some meadows) characteristic zone, with Asclepian incarnata, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Angelica atropurpurea, Physostegia fromosior. Relatively dry grassy edge at edge of contiguous slope, under scattered Cornus stolonifera bushes.
