Open, artificial roadside ditch. Ground damp and mucky with mosses over red-colored sand. Assoc.: Juncus alpinus, Carex scoparia, Liparis loeselii, Eupatorium maculatum, Aster puniceus, young Salix petiolaris and S. bebbiana saplings, Juncus ensifolius.
