Habitat:
Mostly dry, partly shaded, SW facing, sloping 6 m tall sandstone cliff below heavily grazed springy SW facing slope, with some spring seepage. A most unusual flora; Primula mistassinica, Potentilla fruticosa, Parnassia glauca, Zygadenus, all exceedingly rare in the Richalnd county and the Driftless Area.
