Habitat:
Sandy beach. Additional data for 28184-28187: Colony on beach (of ca. 100 plants) and that on mudflat (of ca. 1000 plants) evidently long established, at least previous to this or last year. B.) Sandy beach: dense spreading clumps with more/ess 30-40 basbal branches; assoc.: Echinochloa crus-galli, Cyperus diandrus, C. rivularis, C. strigosus, Polygonum hydropiperoides, P. lapathifolium, P. pennsylvanicum, Amaranthus tuberculosis, Scutellaria lateriflora.
