Habitat:
In or at edge of small shallow pool (1-3 inches deep) along highway. Gravelly sandy soil in full sun. Surrounding ground packed gravel - used by road crew for storing gravel etc. Leersia oryzoides, Polygonum hydropiper, Cyperus rivularis, and Eleocharis obtusa, growing in shallow water with cattails.. Setaria glauca growing at edge.
