Habitat: At water's edge. Roadside ditch cleared through black spruce swamp, its banks of ditch rather wet, densely overgrown (thickety) humus. Associates for 440-445: a) bank: Scirpus rubrotinctus, Polygonum sagittatum, Stellaria longifolia var. longfolia, Scutellaria lateriflora.
