Habitat: Xeric sand prairie along RR right-of-way on high terrace of river valley. Andropogon scoparius dominant, with abundant A. gerardii & Sorghastrum nutans, also Sporobolus cryptandrus, Salsola kali, Monarda punctata, Ambrosia psilostachya, Aster linariifolius, A. ericoides, Helianthus occidentalis, Solidago nemoralis, Gnaphalium obtusifolium, etc.
