Habitat:
Found growing on a grassy trail in a oak forest. Canopy dominated by Quercus alba with Carya ovata also present. Other associates include Araila racemosa, Carex stipata, Asclepias exaltata, Desmodium glutinosum, Ciracea quadrisulcata, Phryma leptostachya, Allaria officinalis, Juncus tenuis.
