Habitat: Exquisite, long-ago re-created, wet-mesic prairie w/ some mesic & fen spp. Assoc.: Baptisia bracteata var, glabrescens, Carex conoidea, Comandra umbellata ssp. umbellata, Galium boreale, Phlox pilosa, Saxifraga pensylvanica, Silphium terebinthinaceum, Vicia americana, & Zizia aptera. Herbage blue-green. Locally common immediately adjacent boardwalk 1/4--1/3 of the way along from the trailhead.
