Sandy prairie "relict" on W end of a Cambrian sandstone bluff, bounded by hemlock-pine woods to the N and E.Associates include Carex muhlenbergii, C. pensylvanica, Selaginella rupestris, Arabis lyrata, Potentilla simplex, P. argentea, Amorpha canescens, Helianthemum canadensis, Heuchera rich. Infrequent; glaucous.
