Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: In oat stubble which contained larger cornstalks from (1947?). Shallow sandy soil, prairie hilltop. Where deep enough to plow, this prairie was evidently once planted to corn. Close by were Andropogons, Gentiana puberula and other prairie spp. in rocky soil. (Possibly second-generation.) The scattered stalks averaged 2-2.5 feet high. [Collection date given as: 9-12-1948]
