Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Sawyer, N side of Badger Creek [near or W of Weirgor]
Habitat: Small stand of mature Pinus strobus trees on steep bluff overlooking creek, with scattered Quercus alba in the overstory, Ostrya virginiana midstory, and only a few herbaceous species in the groundlayer (Pteridium aquilinum, Carex pensylvanica). Grass growing in a relatively deep (2--3 in.) duff layer of pine needles.
