Habitat: Weedy grassy yard carved out of dry-mesic Betula papyrifera-Populus tremuloides woods. Assoc.: Barbarea vulgaris, Erigeron sp., Juncus tenuis, Silene vulgaris subsp. alba, Plantago rugelii, Potentilla norvegica, Rumex crispus, and Trifolium repens.
Occurrence Remarks: Sheet 2 of 2. Flrs. bright yellow; heads tightly closed at 8:00 a.m., somewhat open at 10:30 a.m., fully open after 12:00 noon.
