Habitat: Lovely 18-acre, dry-mesic to mesic prairie remnant. Dry-mesic prairie on lower-middle slope of W-facing ridge, surrounded by mostly open, agricultural land; soil = Dodgeville silt loam. Assoc.: Anemone cylindrica, Comandra umbellata ssp. umbellata (abundant), Coreopsis palmata, Eryngium yuccifolium, Euphorbia corollata, Helianthus pauciflorus, Panicum leibergii, Phlox pilosa, Poa pratensis, Symphyotrichum laeve, S. oolentangiense, and Toxicodendron rydbergii.
