Habitat: In large pockets of soil accumulation, carpeted with mosses, atop talus boulders in full sun in bottom of long-abandoned quarry. Assoc.: Euphorbia corollata, Silene antirrhina, Veronica arvensis, V. peregrina ssp. xalapensis, and Specularia perfoliata. Waterloo Quartzite outcrop.
