Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: With Liatris pycnostachya, Solidagos sp., Ratibida pinnata, Helianthus along RR. A few plants. Sheet 1 of 2. [On Sept. 5, 1969, I saw a large colony of this species in an old field. The Solidago graminifolia was attracting large numbers of the Mourning Cloak Butterfly. Nearby stands of Solidago canadensis or S. gigantea were attracting only bees. - M. Nee]
