Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Sandy hillside with an old Quercus alba (?) dying, possibly of oak wilt disease. The hillside therefore somewhat open, with Ulmus spp., Rumex acetosella, Baptisia leaucophaea, Juncus tenuis, Krigia biflora spp. biflora, Tradescantia ohiensis, Carex spp. grasses, Potentilla simplex, Liatris aspera, Rhus glabra. Flowers orange. Juice milky.
