Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Winnebago, Ripon. At (mostly S of) Oscar Radtke's private drive toward Fond du Lac Co. line, 2 .5 mi NNE of Ripon [Fond du Lac Co.] SE shore of Rush Lake
Verbatim Coordinates: T17N R14E sec34 SE4;
Habitat: Strip of Southern wet-mesic forest following the 820-ft. contour along SE shore of lake, red ash (Praxinus pennsylvanica var. pennyslvanica) the only dominant, hardly any indivduals of other tree spp. present except for very edge on upland side. Southern wet-mesic forest (Fraxinus nigra & Ulmus americana both very rare), with Carex projecta, Cinna arundinacea (common), Glyceria striata, Muhlenbergia sylvatica, Boehmeria cylindrica, Pilea pumila, Parthenocissus inserta, Circea lutetiana ssp. canadensis, Epilobium coloratum, Sium suave, Cuscuta cuspidata, Aster lat. Very common; infrequently scattered plus locally abundant as ring-shaped colonies around depressions.
