Habitat: Old corn field (one year fallow) on sandy loam soil, formerly dry or dry-mesic prairie on high terrace of river valley. Assoc. incl. Cycloloma atriplicifolia, Froelichia floridana, Mollugo verticillata, Euphorbia corolatta, Oenothera rosettes and many grasses. Additional field notes for Cochrane 8334: Assoc. incl. Cyperus schweinitzii, Setaria viridis, and Digitaria sanquinalis.
