Habitat:
With Carex muhlenb., Gnaphalium obtusif., Helianthemum bickn., Tradescantia ohiens. The vegetation is an extensive mosaic of dry-mesic prairie, Quercus ellipsoidalis groves and openings, and scattered islands of oak woodlands, all of which preserve the site's savanna aspect. Very abundant; one of the unusual, densely leafy, many-branched forms. Sand prairie dominant in terms of frequency of stems. [Lacking good stem leaves; probably Euphorbia x psudovirgata (Schur) Soo (lvs. +/- linear, the larger >3 mm wide) - A.A. Reznicek, 2005]
