Habitat: Xeric sand prairie along RR right-of-way. Andropogon scoparius dominant, with abundant A. gerardii, and Sorghastrum nutans, also Sporobolus cryptandrus, Salsola kali, Monarda punctata, Ambrosia psilostachya, Aster linariifolius, A. ericoides, Helianthus occidentalis, Solidago nemoralis, Gnaphalium sbtusifolium, etc.
