Habitat:
Very rich silt loam site. Even aged elm and bitternut hickory trees 130 yrs. old. Maple and basswood also very important. May have been lightly burned about 1835 by big SW Menomonee fire. Basal area: 21866 sq. in/acre. Density: 176 trees/acre. Average D.B.H.: 12.6 inches. Continuum index: 89.1.
