Habitat: Rich woods. Nellie Fraser Herbarium, Appleton, 1891. Ms. Fraser was the daughter of Hugh Fraser, of Appleton, WI. She was an artist and bookkeeper for the Fraser Lumber Co. Whether she attended the University of Wisconsin is unknown to the family. Her collection consisted of 53 herbarium sheets of native and naturalized vascular plant species contained in a dilapidated folder on which was written "Nellie Fraser 1891." Presumably all were collected in the vicinity of Appleton, (present-day) Outagamie Co. Donated to WIS by Wayne and Paddy Fraser June 21, 1999.
