Habitat:
Planted and mowed median strip. These specimens were out at the edge, with the stems bearing the inflated fruiting calices hanging over the edge of a concrete curb, where the lawnmower could not reach.
Occurrence Remarks:
Fls. pink; fruiting calices dull greensih-tan, with only a hint of pink color. Abundantly established.
