Habitat: Stream 50-100 ft. wide, 1-6 ft. deep, water brownish but clear, bottom mostly gravel to rocky. Aquatic vegetation locally abundant, especially below 2nd rapids area below "Little" falls: Sparaganium dominant; Potamogeton richardsonii, P. zosteriformis, P. foliosus, P. gramineus, P. alpinus, P. nodosus (?), Heteranthera dubia, Sagittaria cuneata, Elodea, Callitriche verna. Submerged in flowing water. [taxon has "?"].
