Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Forest, Alvin. Pine River: North Branch upstream from "Windsor Dam" to canoe landing on FSR 2174, about 4mi SW of village of Alvin

Habitat: Stream 40 to 60 ft. wide, water clear and colorless, bottom sand to soft mud or fine organic materials, often densely vegetated. Sparganium (clorocarpum?) and Potamogeton richardsonii often dominant; Potamogeton alpinus, P. alpinus X richardsonii, P. pectinatus, P. epihydrus, P. obtusifolius, Callitriche verna and Nuphar variegatum locally common.
